Cookie Policy
Last updated June 2026
Most cookie policies exist to explain away a wall of trackers. Ours is short because there are none. This page covers the Minipod marketing site you are reading now, and is honest about exactly what gets stored in your browser.
The short version
We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies on this site. There is nothing following you around, nothing sold, and no banner to dismiss, because there is nothing to consent to.
What we do store
The only thing this site keeps in your browser is:
- Your theme preference. When you switch between light and dark mode, we remember your choice in your browser's local storage so the site looks the way you left it. It is set only when you toggle it, stays on your device, and is never sent to us.
Why this is allowed without a banner
Under privacy and ePrivacy rules, storage that is strictly necessary for a feature you actively choose is exempt from consent. Your theme preference qualifies: it does nothing unless you toggle it, and it serves you, not us. That is why you will not see a cookie pop-up here.
If that ever changes
If we ever add analytics or any non-essential cookies, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before setting them, with a clear way to say no. We would not slip that in quietly.
The Minipod app
The product app at app.minipodapp.com is a separate, logged-in service and uses the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and the application secure. How we handle data inside the product is covered by our Privacy Policy.
